Marvin is a Clinical Social Worker (CSW). With a background in outpatient mental health, community mental health, residential facilities, and homeless services, he understands the importance of mental health awareness.
While working in wilderness therapy, he learned how the skills we use to overcome our fears in outdoor pursuits can translate into how we address struggles in our everyday lives. Marvin is passionate about helping those who want to heal from their past but may not know where to start. He believes that acknowledging past traumas is the first step toward finding balance and purpose in life.
By working with S.T.A.Y., Marvin will contribute to facilitating community support along with advocacy for suicide prevention and mental health awareness.
