As a queer, white, gender non-conforming individual in recovery, I am committed to bringing culturally responsive services to the clients I serve. My therapeutic orientation is rooted in feminist multicultural psychotherapy and my guiding principles are harm reduction, trauma informed care, strength-based, and person-first. I am committed to breaking down barriers to accessing supportive services and providing equitable support to our clients with marginalized identities. I am currently the Division Director of Youth Homeless Services at Volunteers of America, Utah, and oversee the downtown youth shelter, youth housing programs, and youth prevention program. I have a masters in social work from the University of Utah. In my free time, I enjoy biking, desert adventures, crocheting, and spending time with my cat, dogs, and chickens.
