CSW, Community Experience Coordinator, Support Groups Facilitator
As a Clinical Social Worker (CSW), Emily has a deep passion for empowering and guiding individuals to discover their emotional truth and authentic selves. Her experience includes providing counseling for individuals struggling with substance use disorders, both in inpatient and outpatient settings.
In addition to her work with substance use disorders, Emily has had the privilege of providing therapy to elementary and middle school children in the Salt Lake City School District. Her experience in educational settings has led her to love working with children and teens.At the core of Emily’s practice is a deep belief in the importance of creating a safe and affirming space for individuals of all identities. She strives to foster an environment where everyone feels valued and seen in their complex identities.
By working with S.T.A.Y., Emily contributes to facilitating community experiences and effectively advocates for the importance of mental health wellness and suicide prevention awareness.
