Mercedes Butterworth is an Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor licensed in Utah. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Westminster University and aBachelor’s degree in Global Studies from U.C. Santa Barbara.
Mercedes works with individuals experiencing grief and loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, bipolar disorder, suicidal ideation, and substance use. Her approach is collaborative and rooted in existential and humanistic frameworks, helping clients deepen self-understanding and connect with their inner strengths.
Mercedes brings both personal experience and clinical training to her work with grief, believing in the power of authentic human connection to foster healing. She is grateful for the opportunity to join S.T.A.Y. in supporting individuals through loss.
