Dr. Shlachter is a Clinical Psychologist based in Lake Tahoe, California. She owns a clinical practice specializing in behavioral therapy for children and adults suffering from anxiety, OCD, and PTSD. Dr. Shlachter earned her Doctor of Psychology degree from the University of Denver. She is a lifelong snowboarder and mental health advocate, with a passion for connecting mountain communities with quality mental health care. When she is not at the office, she spends as much time as possible outdoors and is a Jones Snowboards team ambassador.

Dr. Shlachter is our Board of Directors Compliance Officer at S.T.A.Y.  and offers specialized guidance and input for our educational materials and community mental health resources.
